 I ended yesterday's entry saying that I would be writing an English essay, before bed, for improving my academic English. Well, I didn't write anything. I will write one for sure today and will post it here as with title 3.1. I got the SSD, and I installed Ubuntu on my machine which I'm using to write this blog. The SEO project would be secondary as getting a good score in a English language test is my primary objective.  Important point worth mentioning here is, John suggested me to use No-IP for my website if I don't have or want to use a static external IP.

My research unraveled that Github only allow static website hosting, which will not be sufficient to receive the best outcome from the SEO practices that I am planning to implement.  I watched a couple of  Youtube videos and using this video , I figured that Oracle free cloud server can be used to setup my own webserver that will host my dynamic website. However, Luke, one of my colleagues, suggested today that I some try to host it on my own device. I told him that I'd thought about it and one of the limitations in this approach is that I rent a room in a shared house and I don't have access to the admin console of the network. I can talk to my housemates and they will probably open the incoming port 443 for me or I can ask them to put my device in the DMZ hence I was looking for cloud hosting be it Github or Oracle.  I want to explore the Search Engine Optimization world to add it to my skillset as a tool. I will create a website for an electrical repair shop and will try to optimize the google, which I believe is the most utilized search engine at this point, search results for it. I will note down the milestones, that I believe are required for this, however, I will be updating these milestones in the future as I continue my research and practical work with the real life experience.  1. Register a domain for the business 2. Create a website 3. Learn the SEO basic concepts and apply it 4.
