People are shopping more than ever before due to the advancement of technology. The main byproduct of this increasing trend is the world wide usage of the plastic shopping bags, which some individuals believe should be banned due to the harm these items cause to the nature. I completely agree with this statement because of the tidius recycling process associated with polythene, and the danger is causes to certain species.

The lifespan of plastic, a non degradable chemical material, is in thousands of years hence getting rid of the products made from it also takes many years. Debris of such material ends up in the form gigantic piles causes several other issues because of the bacteria that will dewel in such garbage places. Emposing a complete ban on such practices will eradicate the need to ever deal with such issues.

Non-dissolvable nature of plastic is another concern that can never be overlooked. For example, everyone is aware of the fact that there is a great amount of plastic waste being sailing in the pacific ocean which has endangered a lot of marine species because when eaten the plasticwhich is non-digestable builds up in the stomach which futher helps in develping many diseases for these fishes that enventually takes up their lives.

In conclusion, as plastic is a non degradable which is very difficult to removed from the nature and non digestible chemical endangering the existance of many species, and it causes numerous harms to the environment, I fully support the idea of banning it.
