Some are of the opinion that people are naturally born as good leaders while others feel that leadership skills can be learned.

Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

There is no denying to the fact that leaders shape the world. Whether leadership is god-gifted or can be learned later in life is a debatable topic. I belive that using proper techniques and methods any person can be taught to be a leader.

Those who believe that leaders are naturally born are highly misinformed by failed people. There are a few individuals out there who had tried to become a leader in their lives but failed because of reasons such as misfortune or lack of oppertunities. For example, one of my friends, who always wanted to become president of the student union during our school days, never got selected for the candidancy of the student union because he used to somehow got sick during the election days. So, he, till this day, believes and tells others that leadership is not for everyone.

On the other hand, many believe that leadership is like a skill hence it can be taught by following some guidelines. The most important thing while learning how to lead people is to learn to become persistent. There are certain patterns that are followed by all the successfull leaders in the world similar to waking up early in the morning and taking a proper diet. These habits are difficult to adapt, however, if one doesn't stop trying then these skills can be mastered easily that will later help the person to develope leadership qualities. For example, most of the leaders around us graduate from one of the Ivy league colleges, which proves that these schools know the mantra of becoming a leader which they teach to their students who later emerge as world leaders.

In conclusion, there might be a handful people as per who leadship can't be taught because of the lack of the information passed on to them, I believe that leadership is skill which similar to any other skill can be taught using adequate techniques and methods.
