People take lot of interest in the lives of famous figures. Sometimes media's exploration of the private lives of such reknowned personalities is not welcomed by a certain segment of the society. Despite the few reasons given for this oppose, I believe that knowing more about the notrious ones has its own benefits hence I strongly disagree with the aforementioned statement.
Those who want media not to disclose the private lives of celbrities often feel threatened by the negative effect this might have if the personal lives of so called "celebrities" are flawed. Because people follow the footsteps of their favorite famous individuals, regardless of risks involved with this trend. For example, recently a hollywood star was found to be regular consumer of illegal narcotics. As soon as this news was out, there was a surplus seen in the utilization of the same substance among the fans of the same actor.
On the other side, I believe that by opening up the lives of celebrities by media gives them a peace of mind which allows them to focus more on their work, which was the reason for their publicity at the first place. These individuals are gifted with the talent in their respective fields, and they can produce positive performence for the society if they are not worried about hiding their private lives. A recent study has shown that top athletes whose personal lives were available to the general public showed better results in the compitions compared to those who kept their lives a secret.
In conclusion, although there might be one or two negligible reasons to not share the presonal lives of celebrities in media, I strongly believe that media should openly share the personal lives of celebrities because of the benefits will have.
